Prolific Dutch producer, Odette, is back with a double pack of brooding burners to gently toast the soul. Rolling up her sleeves to get busy with the latest release on digital-only label VDKDGTL, our label head leads the charge with 'Secret Garden'; a track which, dare we say it, is classic Odette. A driving bassline and stripped back percussion make it eminently danceable. Haunting, ethereal drones are suddenly met by a trippy, treble-dominating Rhodes sound that elevates the track, and your spirit, instantly. 'Heart Solution' draws on a darker theme. Odette eschews straight-up house sensibilities here, the lilting synth accompanied by a delectable breakbeat on the high end percussion and a solid kick. One third in we're treated to one of the best drops you're going to hear heading out of 2021.
