Assassins attack one after another, endless... sprays of blood. Heads flying and rolling, and more heads. Truly the road to hell... Minoru Oki, Michiyo Yasuda, and Shingo Yamashiro all turn in fine performances. Festival music meets spaghetti western. Leaping into the sky, kicking through water, then charging across the plains in a massive slaughter scene! Stark naked but for a loincloth, swinging a rigged spear and running wild. Electronic tones go biyo-biyo-biyoooon, and with musique concrète-style sound effects thrown in, the music is demonic, spacious, and funky as hell. It won't play on standard Japanese DVD players, but you can watch it on a computer. A Japanese edition exists, but this overseas version is priced lower.
