SONETORIOUS’s “Bed Time Beats”—Vol. 1 was personally packed with absolutely amazing BEATS—and before I knew it, Vol. 2 had popped up as an 11-track CD-R release. It’s kitschy in a “behind-the-scenes-of-hate” kind of way—is this just who they are, an extension of their pranks, or both? It’s hard to say for sure, but with that uniquely offbeat sampling sensibility—the kind you’d never expect—even the teddy bear next to that girl’s pillow is jumping for joy with a knife in hand. Highly recommended.
