ROCKET, a duo featuring DJ Garth and Eric James of E.T.I., and GRAYHOUND present their landmark debut release!
DJ Garth of the WICKED CREW—who had been active alongside DJ Harvey and others before relocating to California—launched GRAYHOUND, which defined an era of West Coast psychedelic dub house and had a massive influence on the Japanese scene. This is their debut release! Prior to that, there was also the landmark album *'DJ Garth & E.T.I. – Twenty Minutes Of Disco Glory’ (WICKED, 1996)—a true landmark in the genre—but this collaboration between DJ Garth and Eric James, ROCKET, also went on to become a cult hit. This track firmly captures the simple yet sophisticated dub house style honed through party culture. There’s a clear lineage here that extends right through to today’s FUTURE TIMES and MOOD HUT scenes. Released in 1998!
