John Ringhofer, aka HALF-HANDED CLOUD, caught SUFJAN STEVENS' ear with his 1999 debut album on a small label, which was then reissued as a joint release between ASTHMATIC KITTY and DANIELSON's SOUNDS FAMILYRE (ASTHMATIC KITTY's second album release) — and he's been crafting one-of-a-kind pop ever since. This is a collection of his rare material, recorded across Tennessee, California, Brussels, South Africa, and Helsinki. Sixty tracks in all: pieces issued on vinyl, contributions to compilations, songs given away with festival tickets or included on CD-R zines, a cover of an unreleased SUFJAN STEVENS song, plus six previously unreleased tracks.
