It’s hard to imagine now, but back in 1993, Japan was the only country where the first
independent techno label could distribute vinyl and manufactured.
We’re excited to be able to listen it together now after past years.

In the early ’90s, the first installment of the three-part Japanese techno compilation CD series “ELECTRONIC PLANET,” released on a label by Japanese electronics manufacturer TDK, featured tracks by producer Yasushi Ide of POODLE, Kento Miyagi (!) of the DE-FRAGMENT label, and Fumiya Tanaka—a trio that formed the part-time project LAST FRONT—has been reissued! From the intro featuring tribal chanting to the breakbeat techno track “Green Tower,” with its relentless hi-hats and undulating raw acid sounds, and “Dream Punk,” where metallic percussion is entwined with hypnotic, three-dimensional trance-like liquid synths, This is a remastered reissue from a Japanese vinyl release that is now extremely hard to find!
