Alemayehu Eshete, a key Ethiopian singer of the '70s whose recordings have been compiled on volumes 9 and 22 of ETHIOPIQUES, gets the compilation treatment from HEAVENLY SWEETNESS as part of their Ethiopian Urban Modern Music series. He was a singer active on Amha Records during the same era as Mulatu Astatke and Mahmoud Ahmed.
