The 35th album from Shin Sasakubo, a singular guitarist whose scope reaches from deep in the Peruvian Andes to the folk beliefs of Chichibu.

Sasakubo originally released his work on iempsa, a local Peruvian label, but he made a name for himself from there and eventually collaborated with the likes of Sam Gendel and Joana Queiroz. Licensed by mule and distributed by KOMPAKT, he's gone fully worldwide. This new album is said to be inspired by René Daumal, and features Florencia Ruiz, who has also made a record with Mono Fontana, along with young Minas pianist D'Angelo Silva and fellow Minas native Gabriel Bruce. Call it neo-folklore — it has a grandeur that feels like it carries on a certain strain of 2010s South American music. Amazing that he took it this far! (Original Japanese text by Shhhhh)
