The 33rd album by Shin Sasakubo, a maverick guitarist whose work spans everything from the remote Andes of Peru to the folk beliefs of Chichibu.
Sasakubo originally released music on iempsa, a local Peruvian label, but went on to make a name for himself, eventually collaborating with Sam Gendel and Joana Queiroz. His music was also licensed by mule and distributed by KOMPACT, marking his rise to a global audience. This is his 33rd release, featuring legendary French guitarist Noël Axchote, Brazil’s Antônio Loureiro and Frederico Heliodoro, and American guitarist Adam Ratner. Imbued with the spirit of the Andean gods, this is a documentary of sessions with an all-star lineup.
