A record of magical time, born amid Ireland's mystical, ancient wilderness, by Peter Broderick and East Forest.

Peter Broderick is an American artist based in Ireland who works widely across genres as a singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. East Forest, aka Krishna Trevor Oswalt, is an American artist who continues to create beautiful music blending ambient, electronic, post-classical, indie pop, and more. The first collaborative album by these two artists is now available on CD exclusively in Japan.

Before this project, the two had never actually met. There was only one premise for the record: to draw inspiration from the vast natural landscape of the ancient limestone highlands in County Clare, Ireland, known as "The Burren."

Recorded over the course of a week in April 2022 at a small house in western Ireland, the musical chemistry was instantaneous, and creative inspiration poured into both of them over that brief span of magical time. Using acoustic instruments such as piano, guitar, violin, vocals, and percussion, along with delicate electronics and field recordings captured on site, songs and improvisations emerged one after another.

This suite of 12 pieces ranges widely, from Irish folk song to ambient soundscapes, from expansive improvisation to simple composition, and is presented in the exact order in which the works came into being over that week. A spiritual, beautiful work in which post-classical, ambient, and folk music are magnificently fused.
