Though called "jazz," it's not the abstract kind — the ear is met throughout with the pleasure and overall smoothness of the post-ambient generation, while crossing over into modern classical, post-ambient, hip-hop and soul: this is post-2010 jazz, where simple melodies and "song" remain after passing through and sublimating a range of genres.
