A new release from 〈PARYIA〉, who have long been fusing modern techno with folk music from around the world—from trance tracks incorporating Turkish folklore to tribal dance music influenced by Gore! Be sure to check out the tribal techno track “Reverie” (sample 1), where a robust kick drum supports rhythms that grow increasingly complex as the track progresses, as well as “Reverie (Polygonia’s Fantasme Mix)” (sample 2), featuring additional percussion layers by POLYGONIA—one of the scene’s leading artists currently making waves. Be sure to check it out soon. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
