The record zeroes in on the electronics that developed within the genre from the late '60s into the '70s. Especially recommended is "Chichen Itza" (sample1), where delicate dub treatments set the space shimmering \u2014 keys and electronics conjure a bewitching harmony while DENNIS's own groovy drumming coils around it all for a richly atmospheric track.
