The faint sound of rain in the background, the gentle movement of the air, the guitar that sounds like dripping water, and the nostalgic harmonica improvisation all create a soothing atmosphere. The warmth of the sound is further enhanced when played on a cassette tape. Highly recommended.

In 2023, Akifumi Masubuchi and Shintaro Tanaka held two performances.
This release is a compilation of
four musical segments excerpted from the recording of their second performance, held in June at ootooto in Tohoku-sawa.

Masubuchi plays acoustic guitar and harmonica,
while Tanaka plays electric guitar.
We hope you can sense the overall atmosphere of the performance, including the silence and humidity of the rainy season.

The improvisational performance, which blends brusqueness and thoughtfulness,
along with the use of open-reel tape for mastering, adds a certain sense of nostalgia.
Takuro Okada handled the mastering.

The title was chosen based on the impressions gained from listening back to the excerpted audio, but
we’ll leave its origin to the listener’s imagination.
