An instrumental jazz unit centered around Emil Jonathan, a guitarist and producer from Copenhagen, Denmark, and drummer Thomas Dietl. With the addition of supporting members, the group features bass and drums/percussion, along with a Wurlitzer piano, analog synths, a horn section featuring flugelhorn and saxophone, and choral arrangements. Their instrumental arrangements transcend genre boundaries, ranging from world crossover styles such as contemporary, jazz-funk, Afro-Cuban, Latin, and tango to spiritual jazz, cosmic ambient jazz, downbeat, dancehall dub, and experimental abstract hip-hop—all through instrumental arrangements that transcend genre boundaries, weaving an organic, imaginatively rich, seamless, and magnificent tapestry. 9 tracks total. A masterpiece album that works equally well for both listening and DJ sets. *Please note that the album cover has a slight tear along the spine from the time of arrival. We appreciate your understanding. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
