Roughly two years on from the striking debut "Vibrações de Prata," which showcased the depth of 〈PRÍNCIPE〉 through the singular approach of ambient x Afro-diaspora, XEXA makes a long-awaited comeback! Once again she handles the acoustic instruments, vocals and electronics herself. A Fourth World take on the Lisbon ghetto sound, and a new genre with a chamber-music twist.
Track List

Sound artist XEXA — born on the island of Príncipe off the west coast of Africa and a former student at London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama — is the maverick talent within the 〈PRÍNCIPE〉 crew, the nucleus of the Lisbon ghetto sound, and she returns with an updated Afro-psychedelic soundscape! Highlights include "Txê" (sample1), where meticulous EQ work carves out certain frequencies beneath fog-shrouded layered vocals, and "Kissom," a kizomba that sways with languid, ambient-pop tonal colors. It has more bounce and floor appeal than the previous album, yet retains a smoothness well suited to home listening. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
