We’ve stocked “Sounds Of The Blue Greens,” the first compilation from the label “PALETOWN”—a vintage clothing store in Nishihara—which is structured to reflect the store’s 10-year journey! The album features newly recorded tracks, unreleased songs, and collaborations by artists we’ve connected with through our overseas buying trips and the store itself. The tracks range from lo-fi guitar instrumentals and indie rock to meditative electronica and experimental folk. It’s a unique work that brings together diverse musical styles while sharing a consistent mood and warm, soothing motifs. Not only is the quality of each track exceptional, but the storytelling approach—like using the voice of a shuttle bus driver heading to the airport as the intro—is also incredibly compelling.
