The first pressing of this explosive ragga-hip-hop mashup—which sold out before we even had a chance to write a review—is back in stock! This is the debut release from DJ HOMICIDE_, who also scored a massive hit with his split release with KING MOST (Catalog No. 2). It samples MAD LION’s “Take It Easy” (1994), a classic track that epitomizes 1990s ragga hip-hop.

We’re thrilled to announce the reissue of the debut solo album by DJ HOMICIDE_, who has spent over 30 years as a core member of the U.S. mixture/alternative rock band SUGAR RAY! The A-side features MAD LION’s signature track—a fusion of Jamaican dancehall and New York hip-hop—with its heavy boom-bap drums and killer gaps. The B-side is also a dangerous track featuring SUPER CAT’s “Ghetto Red Hot” (1992), a hit that epitomizes the golden age of early ’90s dancehall. Don’t miss this opportunity.
