Deeply rooted in the tradition of Armenian woodwind instruments, this performance features the vertical flute "burul" and the double-reed instrument "zurna" as its core, alongside various other Armenian woodwind instruments (such as the duduk, bass, puk, bagpipes, etc.), drawing inspiration from diverse locations ranging from the Shnik Mountains to the streets of Anjar. We weave in local sounds, memories, and emotions to create a unique musical world that fuses Armenian folk music from the Caucasus mountain region—situated between Asia and Europe—with breakbeats, bass, and and Fourth World-inspired soundscapes—fused into a solid, hypnotic, and dubby blend.
