Featuring the Marufuku version of Shoukichi Kina's early signature work "Haisai Ojisan"! "Haisai Ojisan," a melody that stands as a symbol of Okinawa, and "Hounen Ondo," the signature song of Deigo Musume, reissued from the original Marufuku Records masters.
Track List

Said to have been written when Shoukichi Kina was just 13 years old, "Haisai Ojisan" is his early signature work and remains to this day a quintessentially Okinawan melody, familiar even from the stands at Koshien. Behind its humorous lyrics and melody lay the harsh realities of Okinawan life in an era still scarred by the war. Rather than the widely known rock-flavored arrangement featured on the 1977 Philips release, this reissue presents the rustic, fresh-faced version released in 1972 on Okinawa's Marufuku Records. The flip side carries "Hounen Ondo," the 1976 hit by Deigo Musume s leading family group, one of the defining elements of Okinawan music, also taken from the original Marufuku Records master.
