We’ve stocked a special new release from Toronto-based new-age dub pop label 〈SPIRITUAL WORLD〉—curated by N1_SOUND—which has been generating buzz by attracting followers across a wide range of genres with each release! This is a recording of an improvised performance by ASHLEIGH BALL, singer and flutist for the trio project “T3AL” (also known as “TEAL”). Recorded inside the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory (DAO) after months of coordination, the session was granted a three-hour private use permit. Alternating between the alto and soprano flutes beneath the observatory’s towering telescope, she blends each sound with the observatory’s vast natural reverberation. Experience the unique resonance and the beauty of the interactively woven melodies.
