First, the premise is to view “sound” not merely as a physical phenomenon but as a living entity; then, we treat the musical piece as a vivarium (an observation case) to investigate the dynamics and forms of “sound.” Please enjoy this record not as a composed musical work, but as a report on the results of a scientific experiment. I’m sure some of you may take issue with this, but even with that in mind, it’s a fun release—I highly recommend it!
Track List

I’d like to introduce an album I just couldn’t pass up from the DIY left-field music mecca, *FUTURA RESISTENZA*. “Clock In, Clock Out,” a research report from MUSICA MOSAICA—the sound experimentation project by GARCÍA BARDÓN and EMMANUEL GONAY—has arrived. It treats sound not merely as an acoustic phenomenon, but as something that exists much like a living creature, and experimentally explores its nature (not a metaphor). Treating the album like a small laboratory and each track like a vivarium, they observe the unique forms of each sound, along with the interactions and changes that accompany them. By staying close to the process—the sound—as it begins to take life and bringing it into being, this is something closer to experimentation than to traditional composition. For connoisseurs like you.
