Founded in the late 1960s by the consumer electronics manufacturer SABA, the label—which included members who had emigrated from the U.S.—produced numerous acclaimed albums from a rare groove perspective, exploring modal, spiritual jazz, jazz rock, electronic, psychedelic, Brazilian, African, and Eastern folk music—producing numerous classic albums from a “rare groove” perspective and earning high acclaim. 日本中のおもしろパーティをトビ廻るDJ。高円寺の人間交差点ことGRASSROOTSの箱番を経て、2010年1月に沖縄へ移住。大規模な野外フェスティバルや、大バコで海外アーティストのサポートからアンダーグラウンド・パーティーまで、どんな現場でもこなしてしまうパーティ・シーンから厚く信頼される DJ。古今東西縦横無尽にジャンルを超えてオール・ミックス。独自の解釈でいとも自然に混ぜ合わせ、聴く者を 引き込んで行ってしまう彼のプレイは誰にも真似出来ない。当然その音楽性は浅く広い訳ではなく、「深く広い」。
BLAST HEAD としても活躍。2004年UAのアルバム「SUN」で3曲プロデュース、REBEL FAMILIAの REMIX、等を手掛ける。2015年にはTHA BLUE HERBのフロントマンとして活動してきたtha BOSSの客演集DJミックス作品「BORDERS」、三宅洋平主宰の〈HAISAI RECORDS〉から「OKINAWA ZANPAJAM MIX」、2016年「Ragtime」、「OK? Tropical Ghetto dub -FOR ARIWA-」をリリース。予測の付かないDJプレイは唯一無二。
