British singer-songwriter Douglas Dare, who has released music on labels such as Erased Tapes; Lisa Harres, whose music is described as neo-classical folk; cellist Marie Claire Schlameus, Berlin-based rising star Finn Ronsdorf, and Jun Miyake—one of Japan’s leading avant-garde musicians, currently based in Paris—are also featured. These are talents who cannot be confined to the categories of ambient jazz or modern classical. A breathtaking sonic world. (Original Japanese text by Saito)
