Ismael Miranda, a star of the Latin music scene affectionately known as the “pretty boy of the salsa world,” was born in Puerto Rico, raised in New York’s East Village, and began recording in his teens. Joe Claussell, well-known from Body & Soul, has remixed the sweet and romantic bolero “Me Voy Ahora,” originally featured on the 1978 LP *Sabor, Sentimiento Y Pueblo*. Starting with a downtempo salsa intro faithful to the original, the track suddenly shifts into passionate deep house, delivering a deep house sound with sustained dynamism and an incredible groove! The B-side Latin dub version, which further enhances the rhythm and structure while updating the groove, is also fantastic. (Original Japanese text by KANO)
