CAN's 7th album from 1975, once cited by MERZBOW's Masami Akita among his FAVORITE MUSIC. Recorded after Damo Suzuki's departure, it saw the introduction of a 16-channel multitrack recorder. The sound, crafted through studio editing by HOLGER CZUKAY and TOY ROBINSON, has a dub, edit-oriented feel — a charm not found on CAN's earlier albums. It feels like a stepping stone toward HOLGER CZUKAY's "Movies." Listening to it from a sonic/acoustic standpoint is fascinating as well. By today's standards, it's one of the most recommended records among CAN's many albums. Remastered under the members' own supervision and SACD-compatible. (Original Japanese text by Saito)
