A masterpiece album from rhythm & blues pioneer JOHNNY OTIS! You also get to savor the guitar work of his teenage son SHUGGIE OTIS. He may not have been what you'd call African American, but he was a truly funky guy who loved black music. The mixdown, with its conscious use of stereo effects, is great too. A fantastic album!
