Whether it's hip-hop of the past, soul, jazz, today's beat scene or hybrid internet music — whatever the source, they pull it all in as fuel for themselves, yet rather than just tracing a style, they lay out a clear through-line across these 37 short tracks. The sampling and the synth work alike are unquestionably FRESH, and it's a blast to listen to. Definitely one to watch in 2013 as well. Recommended, along with this spot-on comment from MASS-HOLE.
