The first release on 〈BODYTRAX〉, from BODYJACK — a new project launched by UK veteran CHRIS FUNKE.
BODYJACK is the new project set in motion after closing the book on 〈FLUX〉 — the label he ran with the help of ANDI HAWES, now working at the long-standing record shop "ViNYL Underground," and home to the likes of VICTOR SIMONELLI and AGARIC a.k.a. PATRIK SKOOG! Last year he also signed to 〈Hypercolour〉, but those releases were digital-only, so with vinyl as the priority he's launched 〈BODYTRAX〉 — and here's the first installment! True to the name, these are tough tool tracks that hit you right in the body: the dubby bassline of "Bodytrax 1," the furiously driving jack track of "Bodytrax 2" with high-end signals swimming through it, and "Bodytrax 3," an update of the Chicago classic "Work It To The Bone" by LNR.
