The original "Asmaa," a mid-tempo groove featuring chorus, horns and synths, calls to mind Asmaa Mahfouz, the female activist who helped spark the Egyptian uprising (the Egyptian Revolution). The remix by trusted NYC techno veteran ALEXI DELANO is superb, its mysterious chorus conjuring a space you might even call spiritual. On the B-side is "Hussein Online," a 121 BPM slow-burning electric house groove. Unique, sexy, and blessed with that house quality you can really sink into — one to watch!
