Christophe Chassol, a French pianist, singer, and composer from Martinique in the West Indies, located in the Caribbean. A prodigious talent who has arranged works for SÉBASTIEN TELLIER and PHOENIX. His contemporary, technically sophisticated piano playing—which incorporates elements of minimalist music and non-Western music—is dynamic and truly wonderful. (Original Japanese text by Saito)
