A long-awaited release. Honoré Boulanger, the talented French artist who caused a stir with her domestic release on WINDBELL—the label that launched MOCKY and Josephine Foster—is now in stock on vinyl.
Track List

We’ve also been promoting the Belgian-French label “LE SAULE” in collaboration with WINDBELL and SHHHHH. Video artist Vincent Moon has also created visuals and soundtracks for the label, which brings together a diverse group of unique artists such as Antoine Royer, Jean-Daniel Botta, and Philippe Club—and one of its leading figures is the female artist Léonore Boulanger. Her avant-pop is uniquely delightful, drawing on a diverse range of musical influences including folklore, world music, experimental alternative music, and theater. While inheriting the tradition of the French pop avant-garde—such as Brigitte Fontaine and Les Rita Mitsuko—and the spirit of the “Reco-style” scene, she possesses a knack for transforming cutting-edge sonic elements into pop while retaining a charming appeal, making her a must-listen for fans of Joanna Muesam and Fana Molina.
