MODULA — the side project of FILIPPO COLONNA ROMANO, a London-based producer who has worked under several aliases and is also part of the crew at 〈PERIODICA〉, the label headed by Naples' much-talked-about trio THE MYSTIC JUNGLE TRIBE, based at ＜EARLY SOUNDS＞ — drops a 10-inch single on Edinburgh's 〈FIRECRACKER〉, the label run by LINKWOOD!

MODULA shot to attention with the fictional space-concept album "AUTOSTRADA GALATTICA," and the 12-inch single "ALBA-TEMPESTA-NOTTURNO A TROPICAL JOURNEY," a limited release on ＜TARTELET＞ woven with field recordings from South America, was superb too. Here come five tracks of feel-good electronic boogie with a retro-future flavor, plus synth-funk jams with pop sensibility worthy of YMO!
