A sonic document of April 25, 2011, as the crew heads out from West-Terschelling harbor in the Netherlands into the Wadden Sea and back again. At times it almost sounds like dance music: the eight-person crew gradually locks their oar strokes and calls into a single unified motion, keeping the groove and getting funky — overwhelmingly beautiful and cool, with a real you-are-there presence. The shifting scenery of ambient and natural sounds is thrilling too. Recorded and edited by ANDREAS O.
