An early-2000s UK electro/techno classic, reissued by Melbourne's 〈A COLOURFUL STORM〉, run by Moopie — who has released a mixtape on 〈BLACKEST EVER BLACK〉 and built up next-generation underground connections via NTS Radio and his own podcast of the same name.
A Colourful Storm compiles three tracks from the vaults of R. Campana & D. Reggi, two producers active in the early 2000’s who released EP’s on First Cut and, more notably, Groovepressure (home to Stopouts, A² and Robin Ball). Three-track EP revived from a period of European underground club music where breaks, electro and tech-house merged into unexpected new forms. Remastered by Mike Grinser at Manmade Mastering, Berlin.

A 2001 EP released on the German label 〈FIRST CUT〉 by an artist who has also appeared on 〈GROOVEPRESSURE〉, the imprint headed by Robin Ball, who in recent years has earned respect from the UK's hardcore scene with a split release with LUKE VIBERT and reissues of older material. Superb hardware electro tracks that fit perfectly with today's RAW sensibility. Don't miss the broken electro cut "Le Preset Du Hasard " either. Apparently in demand on the second-hand market too. A deep-digging reissue from 〈A COLOURFUL STORM〉, home to cutting-edge releases by Christoph De Babalon, Mark and others. Recommended! (Original Japanese text by Saito)
