Young Italian composer LUCA D'ALBERTO has worked on films by Danish maverick Lars von Trier and Wim Wenders. Following the release of his debut album "ENDLESS," here's the second remix package from 7K!, the new imprint launched this year by venerable label STUDIO !K7, focusing on modern/post-classical electronic and contemporary music. Incl. EDWARD, MARQUIS HAWKES Remix.

Berlin maverick EDWARD, long based at GIEGLING, deftly handles the chamber-acoustic source material and feeds it back into the potential of dance music on "Wait For Me (Edward Remix)" (sample1). Swirling reverse effects form parallel layers on the alternate take "Wait For Me (Edward Remix - Ambienca Version)" (sample2). The flip is filled out with "Wait For Me (Marquis Hawkes Remix)" (sample3), a cinematic rework by MARQUIS HAWKES, familiar from DIXON AVENUE BASEMENT JAMS and HOUNDSTOOTH, where decadent instrumental layers pulse throughout!
