Deep electronics/post-classical crossing pipe organ with modular synthesis.

A new project from TAPES, who has turned out countless lo-fi dub to modern electronics classics from his own 〈JAHTARI〉 base — and it's fascinating as ever. "Goblin Wizard Cauldron Spell" (sample1) offers an electronic landscape with modular melodies traced against a solemn pipe organ backdrop. On the B-side, "Maidens Mirror" (sample2) strips things down to organ tones alone, and its meditative atmosphere is superb. Includes liner notes by the artist himself.
