A reissue from DEAD-CERT, the archival dig label run by ANDY VOTEL of FINDERS KEEPERS and SEAN CANTY of DEMDIKE STARE! An album compiled from the vast body of work by A.R LUCIANI, an Italian composer known as an experimental electronic musician active mainly in the '70s who also worked on film scores. Even this seems to be just the tip of a very large iceberg.

A.R LUCIANI is an Italian composer who has remained largely unknown and buried until now. He's often described as an outsider, but you can really feel the craft and talent in his blend of contemporary composition, tape music, classical and electronics. Crystal-clear overtones reminiscent of the gagaku shō lend a sacred air, and the way electronic tones and rhythms ride on top of that shows wonderful taste. And it doesn't stop there — there are classical pieces and spacey, large-scale electronic works too. It's also great how glimpses of humor and pop sensibility peek through. Highly recommended!
