Close to 30 years ago in Copenhagen lived a trio of musicians who sought some sort of progression to the stereotypes of the city’s concurrent techno and house music scene. At the time Copenhagen was a vibrant city primed for a transformation in culture, music and lifestyle. Giovanni Campagna, Giuseppe De Bellis and Rodrigo Passannanti found themselves riding the crest of this wave of change and in 1991 Electrodelia was born.
ELECTRODELIA were a band active in Copenhagen, Denmark 30 years ago, influenced by the techno and house scenes. The A-side is "Visions Of Electrobombay," originally the B-side of their 1993 single. Built on a laid-back tension and a dubby steppers groove, it takes its time: the first half brings vocoder, space voices, exotic spiritual chants and female narration, leading into the break, while the latter half immerses you in tabla-like percussion and spacey synths. The B-side is a previously unreleased track, an even slower progressive house / slow trance number. This one's fantastic too! (Original Japanese text by Saito)
