LINUSNICHOLSON—also known as AUSSCHUSS—is a sound designer whose credibility is backed by his debut release on Milan, Italy’s HAUNTER RECORDS. Following his debut, he continues his exploration of rhythm and sound, delivering a rhythmic workout driven by two-step syncopation and a bassline that ripples independently. From “Bunny Crutch” (sample 1) to the noisy industrial dembow track “PSG 96,” he doesn’t simply mix disparate genres but deconstructs existing ones—in a sense, he nonchalantly commits cultural transgression.
