INNER SCIENCE—one of the leading figures in Japanese electronica and electronic music since the 2000s, who has continued to release DIY works on cassettes and CD-Rs in recent years and released an album this year on his own label, PLAIN MUSIC—has released a 12-inch record via the French label COSMOCITIES RECORDS. Led by “UNFOLD”—a slow house track featuring complex rhythms and rhythmic off-beats that create a groove, with trance-like, uniquely danceable electronic sounds reminiscent of Four Tet—the release includes three original tracks and remixes by Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) and Map.ache (Giegling).
