This is dead stock. A 2022 reissue of the 7-inch "Kampana" re-edit, originally released as a donut record and featuring Aroop Roy alongside producers such as Captain Planet and Delfonic. The B-side features a unique track by Prince.
Ever since it was dropped on the Remedy last month, people have been BEGGING for this tune to be let loose. Kampana reached out to Ruas and we have put together arguably our hottest 7" so far.
"All the Way Down" is a monster jazzy disco-house number, with freshly recorded drums taking the groove levels off the chart on a soul classic.
On the flip, "Like You" is arguably even more burning FIRE, seeing Ruas dig deep to find a rare live recording and taking the unmistakable voice of a true 'royal' legend, getting his crew of Brazilian musicians into the studio to play live bass and drums, for another peak jazzy rework that will cause universal CARNAGE.

A-SIDE is a remix of ETTA JAMES’s “All the Way Down” by Portuguese producer Raus. It’s a psychedelic dance track with fantastic basslines, strings, guitar, groove, soundscapes, attention to detail, and power. The B-SIDE is an edit of a monologue from one of PRINCE’s live sessions. Set against a swinging beat, “I was right there, just like you. In NYC one summer day. I was out for a stroll, feeling good. I was looking at a girl. She was looking right back at me…” The uniqueness of the live atmosphere, mixed with cheers and psychedelic electronic effects. The music scene in Lisbon is really interesting, isn’t it?
