Ten songs by a poet dreaming of an imaginary paradise, built around the theme of redefining O Paraíso. The cover of Lennon/McCartney's "The Fool On The Hill" (sample3) may well be an homage to Caetano's 1986 album. There's also a cover of elder statesman Jorge Ben's 1974 "Errare Humanum Est." Rather than covering bossa and MPB straight, as glimpsed on the previous record, he interprets them in an eclectic way, crafting good music with both light and shade while wrapping the whole thing in a nostalgic air — it somehow recalls MOCKY.
