Alex Burkat, a West Coast producer who began releasing music on labels such as 〈100% SILK〉 and 〈Mister Saturday Night〉 and has continued to release music for over 10 years, is releasing a 12-inch record on the Prague, Czech Republic-based label 〈Moving Pictures〉. Featuring surreal-sounding choruses, soaring synthesizers, a TB-303 acid bassline, a tight beat, a driving kick, and great rhythmic sensibility. A highly recommended house release blending musical ingenuity with an alternative sensibility. It includes remixes by Dean Grenier (aka DJG), head of the San Francisco-based label Sister City, and Aerial—a project by the Czech artists Roman Rai and Täino (aka Yunis Safarov).
