A1 "Tropical Punk (Mutant Edit)" (sample1) is a masterful mid-tempo South American cannibalist experimental mutant disco cut at 132 BPM, percussive and funky with glimmering, wobbly, obscure synths. A2 "Yr Daughter Lies" (sample2), their first collaboration with L.A. electronic artist Howardamb, runs at 127 BPM, led by the cheap, percussive rhythms of vintage drum machines with eerie live electronics darting across the mix — spacey experimental / new wave dance groove. Then there's B1 "Shiva" at 136 BPM, a killer dark-side tropical mutant post-punk funk groove masterpiece recalling KONK, LIQUID LIQUID, ACR and early-'80s post-punk no wave disco, with minimal organic drum beats, cutting guitar, a swinging bassline and spoken-word-style vocals. Rounding things out is B2 "O Espaco" at 132 BPM, Brazilian tropical punk-funk cosmic disco — four floor-ready tracks wrapped in leftfield post-punk avant-garde/experimental art.
