Canadian electronic musician Bruce Haack (1931–1988) has come to be far more widely loved since the 2000s—thanks to renewed appreciation from labels like Q.D.K. Media, Telephone Explosion, and Stones Throw—than he ever was in his own lifetime. This album was programmed on a "polyphonic music computer" he built from surplus parts donated by Philadelphia's Ver-Tech Radio, and the original sleeve notes read "produced and performed entirely by Bruce Haack" and "electronic musical poetic fun for elementary and high school students, revealing further wonders of Spaceship Earth." What you actually get is a wonderfully deranged, distinctly '70s psychedelic merry-go-round of dizzying electronics. Nearly every track features an eerie narration that seems to be guiding the children along, making this one of the more unusual entries in his catalogue.
