“Somtam Samurai” is a passionate, all-out mic-passing track featuring the entire Still Ichimiya crew—a brilliant posse cut that, when you really think about it, doesn’t actually say anything. This time, Monaural mini plug—a passionate group of young Japanese men aiming to be a more authentic Pimpra Yuk band than even the local Thai acts—joined this already baffling party tune, resulting in the completion of the 2568 version, which has evolved in an even stranger direction into an extreme “deko-tora” state. (*2568 refers to the Thai Buddhist calendar). And following that, we’ve added a heavily reworked, deep-dive heavy DUB version by Takuto Kuratani—aka Ruv Bytes—a trusted engineer and musician whom we’ve been forcing to listen to Thai music for over a decade. Just the A-side alone is more than enough to fill you up...

But it doesn’t end there this time!! Side B features “Budsaba” and “One Cup Sake”—the only tracks from JUU4E’s third album, *Iz*, to appear on vinyl. To top it all off, it includes the 2025 remaster of the original album version of “Somtam Samurai” from *New Luk Thung*, plus the previously unreleased instrumental and a cappella versions of the same track—a complete package! It’s wrapped in artwork by Still Ichimiya’s MMM, who drew the participants exactly as they are in real life.
