Arp Frique & The Perpetual Singers, led by Niels Nieuborg, aka Arp Frique — a name derived from the vintage analog ARP synths he loves and CHIC's "Le Freak." This is a full band release featuring The Perpetual Singers, who made waves with an advance release on 〈UNKNOWNUNKNOWN〉 and a rework on 〈Space Grapes〉, plus a chorus that includes members of Amsterdam's Gospel Experience choir. It opens with "Elena," a masterpiece of a track bursting with vocal harmonies, synthesizers and guitar, and runs through "Hold The Line" (previously issued as a Space Grapes remix), "Holy Ghost," the advance single "Father Father," "Look Up Johnny" featuring Dennis Bovell, and closes with the piano-and-gospel "The Gospel Of Jesamy."
