Big Disco Dub 12″ on the obscure Jahtari spin-off Jahmiga, exploring the sweet spot between funk bass and echo chamber with two certified heaters produced by LA axe master Dubsworth and disrupt.

From the label Jah+(a)miga, a follow-up to Jah+at(a)ri, comes a track produced by L.A.-based producer Dubsworth (Dubs Alive) and disrupt. Featuring Birmingham ragga MC Speng Bond, who has been collaborating with Jahtari for over 10 years. An obscure disco dub track that goes beyond vintage, lo-fi synth sounds to deliver a distinct boogie and funk vibe. The B-side features slap bass, funk, and disco, along with the mysterious voice of Domino Slims singing, “Don’t talk to me right now (my song).” It’s quite chaotic, but fans of fringe reggae—and those into the disco scene—should definitely check it out.
