Another magnificent achievement from 〈TRANSMIGRATION〉, the label that has previously released works by SUSUMU YOKOTA and reissued COIL albums. Carefully selected from a collection of DAT tapes dating back to the period when he was conceiving and producing masterpieces like “Acid Mt. Fuji” and “Ebi’s Zen,” these tracks have been transferred to vinyl. From the mutant slow acid track “Dust” to the hypnotic groover “Wave”—reminiscent of screwed trance—and on to “Fortune,” which shifts into high gear and races forward with post-punk snares and orientalized melodies, this collection features eight gem-like tracks.
